Hello The Little Waver
Most new mommys, well let's be honest, most mommys of any sort, are good readers and researchers -- they read, explore, dig, and mark the growth of their baby. They will go to play group and compare their child to the other kids. ME? No chance -- I am dumb as rocks and am learning as my own children show me THEIR developmental markers.
My friend Suzy came over and she came into the caged play room and starting flailing her arms. The babys all look up and smile. Colleen was holding onto the gate with both arms and upon seeing Suzy, she dropped her left arm and started waving it! I didn't think much of it and Suzy (who has a one year old) says, "Peggy, she is WAVING???" I said, "no, no -- just looks like it."
So, Suzy keeps waving and says, "Hi Colleen!!!" Colleen again smiles with her two precious little bottom teeth shining through and she waves back again.
Who knows? Maybe just her shaking her hands, but Suzy was convinced she had a little person 15lb. 6oz. of love from the hand.
